Who we are
Kandake Labs was founded by Candace Ramsey — a technologist and IT executive with 30 years of experience across some of the most demanding environments in American industry: railway and transportation infrastructure, oil and gas, criminal justice, DoD-cleared research computing, and higher education.
Candace has led multi-million dollar technology programs, built secure enclaves for federal compliance, served as co-PI on a National Science Foundation grant, and spent years doing the thing most executives delegate — actually building and running the systems. She holds an MBA, a Master of Science in Software Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, and an Executive Certificate in IT Management. She has worked extensively in environments requiring the highest levels of security and federal compliance.
The tools we build come from problems she has lived. We know what it feels like to need something that works — without a six-week implementation or a procurement cycle. We build the thing we wish had existed.
